The Chesterfield is a handsome and impressive piece of upholstery that may have taken its name from the Derbyshire Town or one of the Earls of Chesterfield. Many manufacturers claim to use the hand-tied technique in generic terms, but a closer look reveals that attaining a proper spring loading for a specific design is both a science and art that few have mastered. The timeless classic.

- Standard fill seat cushions feature polyfiber wrapped around a high-resiliency polyurethane foam core;
- Down-feather fill seat cushions with a polyfiber wrapped around a high-resiliency polyurethane foam core are available upon request.
- Tight back, crafted of polyurethane foam topped with polyester wadding.
- Foam with BS standard fire specifications is available upon request. Foam in American Standard CAL117 for the USA, available upon request.
